Remember the betadine and rubbing alcohol. Those Blades are so smooth you don't know your cut till you see red. Lol. I know you will enjoy.

    razor # 1 - Hess 99 in pristine shape
    razor # 2 - otto steinen " diamondine"
Caties Bubbles La Rose Du Mechant
brush - handle by brushcraft " Chris trimble" knot from FS 28 mm silvertip set deep
AS - Caties Bubbles le Piment De Le Vie
Not sure why but I shaved one side of the face with the Hess and the other with the diamondine. I guess I was trying to decide if my hone job on the Hess was as good as Jamies on the diamondine & it was pretty close

Day One of seven: Custom Mastro Livi 8/8 — lovely first shave with Mike's Italian Behemoth, and yes, slow & steady =a near BBS!
Whiskers run from this bad boy! This Mastro is the largest razor (scale and blade size) I've used to date, but with a little confidence, it really shines!

Confidence, slow and steady; Kevin, you nailed it. It's a heckuva shaver. Easy to hone, takes a good sharp edge. But she is big!

Today's choice was a 7/8" Dorko blade, full hollow ground with Spanish Point by Heriberto Wacker. This was a limited edition he produced a couple of years ago.[IMG]

Very nice. One of my favorite shavers is my Wacker Chevalier :love055:

I am not surprised, the Chevalier is one awesome blade, I was able to take one for a spin or two few shaves a while back. Love'em!

Day 2 of 7 with the Mastro: More confident today, and also a bit careless. Three passes = smooth, irrigational-free results, but I earned a small bleeder because I misjudge the tip on my jawline. Badge of honor…..:D

Kevin, secretly I'm glad it bit you just a little. I was questioning my technique :D

I predict on day three, there will be irrigation :happy102:

When used more frequently, it becomes second nature, using the Big Girl. By the end of the seven days, it'll be routine, then you'll go back to a regular size razor and it'll feel like Dubl Duck Dwarf :p
