How I spent my day: In lovely santa rosa with the wife attending the annual 'Heritage Seed Expo' where displayed were hundred upon hundreds of heritage vegetables and fruits. My wife bought a boatload of seeds. Me? I picked up a nice Japanese-style ceramic tea bowl—which will make an ideal shaving bowl. I'll use it in tomorrow's SOTD. Fun day taking in the sights at the county fairgrounds, despite the 100°F+ temps. at least they had decent AC inside some of the venues….
We're off to the a specialized hospital in Amsterdam. My son is going to have the first operation to transform him from the girl he was to the man he is! We'll be staying close by and in the first half of next week we'll return home. I'm proud an anxious at the same time.
My day in a nutshell: Long. It's 12:50am now and heading to bed after having wrapped up some emails and stuff. Getting up in 5 hours to press replay and do it all over again.
going alright so far. Breathing is mostly better and I have use of a car again so I don't have to bike everywhere anymore. The other issues are still around.
Tired this morning. Stayed up to midnight last night waiting for my daughter to get home from a Taylor Swift concert and got up at five. Not as much sleep as I'd like. It will be a long day.
