I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of September part 2. A gem micromatic bullet tip. As great as the injector shaves me I cant wait for the Gem. I love a straight razor shave and I've heard that the SE razors give the same feel.

That's the site/list I saw... The descriptions might be good of the different models subtleties but I couldn't decipher anything with the pictures. Or lack of differences in the lack of pictures.

I also picked this one up today. Decent shape, only real blemish is on the port side of the handle. Looks like it got close to something warm.

Now, I checked the bay and only found basically one choice for Schick injectors blades(yellow box of 7ea). What blades are there available and where do you normally find them.

For new blades you only have two kinds to choose from Personna/Ted Pella Injector or the Yellow Schick blades.

Sounds good.. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't looking in the wrong place at the wrong options.

I myself am lucky. I can buy the Schick blades locally at a mom and pop drug store. You might try the smaller local drug stores in your area. They might carry them.

    Morning shave
    Hot Shower
    Soap: Proraso Green
    Brush: Omega Pro 48
Razor: Schick Type E - Canada
    Blade: Schick Injector (China) (4)
    TSD Witch Hazel
    Aftershave Cream: Proraso
    After Shave: Proraso Green

    Schick E2.JPG

Fourth shave with the Canadian Schick Type E and same blade.
I'm improving with each shave. I can only imagine what this razor would provide after a 30-day Rule.

Eight hours later - no sign of growth! Absolutely none.

    Cheers!

Besides the yellow Chinese Schick blades and the personna 74 blades and the personna platinum chrome blades what other new circulation blade options are there?

NOS Schick Platinum or Schick Platinum Plus blades are excellent Sir....NOS Gillette Platinum Plus are excellent as well...NOS Schick Krona blades are smooth and depending what injector you are using NOS Schick/Gillette Twin Blades are awesome....There are also current Schick single & twin blades available from Japan on EBay but I have never tried them...:chores016:

I don't use anything other than NOS Twin Injector Blades in my Schick Adjustable.....There are plenty of NOS Schick Twin Injector Blades on EBay at the moment for more than a good price....Snap them up now.....;)
You wont regret buying them Sir:chores016:

agree...IMO everyone here should know EVERYTHING that there local beauty and barber supply stores sell....I have a local beauty supply store that I can get personna injectors at and they aslo sell a few merkur razors.

also I saw a few gem SE's that I had never seen yesterday (2 for $8), but didnt know anything about them...they both looked like they took a regular DE blade and were very obviously designed after the schick M and I think G....anyone know anything about these and are they good shaver's? was also going to ask if they are worth the price but im pretty sure I know the answer to that one.:)
