I have found that most of the time NOS in the name means $$$. I'm still under the delusion that switching to DE and SE shaving is cheaper. I try to get the best most economical option that my face will let me off with.

Never seen that before Sir...That looks like a Schick cartridge handle with an injector head on it...A Frankenstein ? ....I don't know...The last Schick Injector was the Type O and that's no type O I have ever seen....:chores016:

I see the photos on the extreme right hand side. You might have issues if you are using a phone because the screen is designed for PCs in size.

I think I like it! Fits the hand well! I will see how it shaves in couple days.

Personna 74s have not been made since the mid 1970s. Those are NOS blades if you find them in a package.

Chinese Schick blades and Personna / Ted Pellas are the two major new circulation blades. Barber blades on Amazon are rebadged Personna blades as well.

You can also still get new (maybe NOS) Twin Injectors.

    @Mustache
For the budget conscious, these blades may not be as good as the NOS Schick Plus Plats or Personna 74's but they are still better than just about any DE blade I have encountered...: Below is the EMS product discription, order no.'s and contact info.
Stainless Steel "PTFE" Coated 20 blades in a dispenser.
    71990 Dispenser each 4.50
    71991 Dispenser 10/lot 42.00

    Phone: 215-412-8400
    Toll Free: 800-523-5874
If you place your order by phone and its in stock, delievery can be rapid....

My only issue today was that the G bit into a mole that I've never cut shaving before. Its still bleeding. Other than that its a 2 pass DFS, XTG then ATG.

I'm jealous.....not the 'mole incident' but the Arko Stick....I've been out for almost a year, time to fix that!

I looked at page no1 from this Party...

I saw quite a few amazon listings for the personna 74s so I thought they were new. I would try a twinjector but I have read that they only work in more modern razors and I only have my G type. I may end up trying the personna when I start back a normal razor rotation again.

The 74s are legendary and worth the hype in my estimation....You are correct Sir!, The Twinjector blades will not work in you G....But I can assure you, a shave with your G armed with a NOS 74 would be quite hard to beat with any combination....

maybe I'll pick up a pack of the current and the 74s.

I apologize for the poor picture. Everything was dead except my tablet and it has a terrible camera. I was so impressed by the 3 seconds of loading I gave the arko that I knew I needed a picture and the picture doesn't even show the half full mug of lather I had left after my 2 passes.
