My collection is much smaller now my friend. The goal was to keep to seven. I'm currently down to 9, but I have two inbound, and too many J-Wests I'm just not giving up. I may just have to suck it up and say, two seven day sets...

HEY! I gotta go find three more straights!

Day 3 of 7…no blood today—unlike the minor bite I received yesterday, today's shave was über-smooth with no irritation. I'm getting the hang of this grande rasoio personalizzato!

 

Absolutely outstanding...top shelf.

 

Just as a heads up, the best old JMP Fili Sub Cero I've ever seen just got listed on d'Bay. If I hadn't just spent crazy money on a straight, this baby would be mine. Someone here please get it so I can see it more frequently...

 

This is the kind of thing that gets me in trouble with SWMBO.

Sorry, can't help you with the Fili, Mike.
I'm somewhat cheap careful with how I'm doling out my earnings on razors. That Fili is lovely, however.......someday, maybe.
As it stands, I just acquired another well-regarded but Deutsch-made vintage straight that I'm adding to the arsenal. Hopefully it will arrive in a few days...

Well, it became a no-go. The seller changed his mind about selling. What's the ol' saying about 'counting your razors chickens before they've hatched!'

 

Day 4 of the 7-Day Test drive: Chased the BBS shave this morning and caught it! Sure, I'm slippery smooth, but I paid a small price for it. Some slightly tender spots on the throat (I do have very sensitive skin) which the Fine 'Snake Bite' brought to my full attention . I am lovin' this razor though!
