What's your favorite Sparkling Wine? Champagne? A French Crémant? A New World Sparkler? Mine are Californian and Australian sparklers, although I want to try the Italian Metodo Classico's from various DOP regions. English sparkling wines are great but not inexpensive enough for everyday consumption...
the only champagne I have tried is called Andre. It is cheap (around $6 ) probably not the best, but its not bad either.
Champagne is not really the correct word . In the UK we don't have the equivalents of Andre, Tott's, Cook's, Bright's President etc. We could pop over to France for Kriter, Veuve de Vernay, Cafe de Paris et al , but then we would find real Champagne ...
I enjoy several of the local offerings in nearby Livermore valley. Wente bros sparking wines are a favorite of my wife. I'm not a big bubbly enthusiast but I do pick up the occasional Perrier joulet for special occasions.
I love almost any brand, as long as it's extra dry or brut. I get lots of grief from my buddies who call me a snob for having it as my drink of choice. I found a new liqueur called St. Germain. It has a great taste, if your looking for something to add to your sparkling wine.
Depends upon my mood and what it is available. The wine selection in Korea has improved greatly but the prices are.... brutal. California: Schramsberg Blanc de Noir French: There are allot but here are few Bollinger, Roederer, Piper Heidsiek Brut Rose Sauvage and almost all Tete de Cuvees.
It's not really sparkling, but I like Vinho Verde. It's an inexpensive Portuguese dry wine with just a little effervescence, not really bubbly. There are multiple brands.
Krug Clos Du Mesnil is my all time fave. I almost never drink it because it is so darned expensive, but dang is it good! It is only suitable if your dinner date is classy beyond all belief.
