I Also added 3 drops of clove essential oils and 10 drops of vitamin E oil

The rum seems a little overpowering. I actually added a little extra vodka. But I might add 50ml of vodka and 50 ml of witch hazel

  3. I added 50ml witch hazel, 50ml vodka, then I added a little more essential oils and Vitamin E.

The rum scent is lighter now =) i think it Will blend in nicely once all the scents come out =) right now the Bay scent is very light. But I dont Wanna add more before the "elixir" is finished =D

We'll see what happens .. And now the wait begins
  4. I'm very bad at this waiting thing haha.

I smelled it today, it's smells spicy, but the rum is a bit strong and the bay is a bit weak. But I don't want to add more EO's yet
  5. Put it aside—away, out of view in a cabinet somewhere and ignore it for several weeks. Hard to do, but you'll be surprised at the change….
  6. I Would but I need to shake it every day. You think the Bay will come through more?
  7. I smelled it today. The spiced come through more now. I understand why i need to wait.

The rum is still noticeable, this Jamaican rum I bought had a strong scent.

We'll see how it is in a couple of weeks. I know I want to add more Bay EO. But I might add some more vodka/witch hazel to mellow down the rum scent =)
  8. How much are you making?
  9. :rolleyes005:
  10. I started out with 300 ml, but added more vodka and WH, I'm between 350-400ml now. I might add some more spices actually now that I have increased the liquid. 2-3 allspice and maybe 5 black pepper. Maybe a small stick of cinnamon, but I'm afraid to add more cinnamon because it's an irritant for many people

  13. My aftershave will be done tomorrow. It smells VERY NICE!

I'm gonna keep every thing in and wait for the vegetable glycerine that I ordered today =D
  14. Do you have a name for this yet?

  18. Kevin, remember the scene in The Great Escape where the 3 American soldiers concoted that weird drink on July 4? That is what this is developing into :)
  19. ohh ok. Well, essentially it's iced tea and lemondade, but I learned that it can be made with different combos. Tasted good, but it was quite sugary.
