Last night I got a very nice irritation free DFS with 3 passes and touch-up with my 1955 Hydro-magic. I could hear the baby crying but; unlike my standard MO; didn't look for it. I had done a battle of the SEs two nights ago, with my face as the battlefield, so I thought I'd leave well enough alone last night, and cut my skin a little slack...lol. So tonight, I'm getting ready to play a concert that we have been rehearsing for for a while. I wanted to feel great, but I really didn't need a shave I had shaved soo late the night before...But hey.....I dig shaving before the gig, so I got a great lather, and did two light passes with this E2 and man! Absolute perfect BBS! And irritation free to boot! Tonight under the spotlights when sometimes a little sweat will make a super close shave burn a little...nada! Col Schick was da Man! These injectors should have won the razor wars...I'll never understand why not...And this one is from like 1937....They sure got these right, right from the start....Bravo! And Whoot!

SEptember 12. Schick M2 Adjustable set @ 8 / Schick (11) Pacific Shave - Caffeinated Shave Cream Durance en Provence L'Ome Pure Badger Kenneth Cole ASB CC Cat 'O Nine Tails AS ** So far this month it has been an eye opening experience focusing on Single Edge Razors. My appreciation for the Schick Injector has went up appreciably. I am missing some letters in the Schick repertoire, but the B, E's, Hydro-magic, J, L's, M Adjustable, and N give me smooth close shaves that are so comfortable, it is going to be hard to go to OCtober. Some of My Gem, Star, Everready SE's are also giving me great shaves, but not at the same level as the Injectors. This week I used my two MMOC's, an MMCP, and a Gem 1912 smooth Cap travel razor. The MMOC's gave me a good shave, but they are rough and I had more irritation than usual after the shave. The MMCP and the 1912 give me a great smooth irritation free shave, but not at the same level as the Schick Injector. I will be using more of my various single edge razors for the remainder of the month and do another update at the end of SEptember. **
The Schick F is a truly efficient razor and the Soap Exchange Barber Shoppe provided good slickness. Great shave.
In keeping with my Saturday focus, I started out with my Feather AC SS for the first pass. I'm getting this thing figured out. I got a nice pass with no irritation that I would call CCS. I did a cleanup pass with my Ever Ready 1912 for a DFS. I'm learning a lot on this SE focus. Just bought this Personna Floating head. In package (missing blade pack). Paid a princely sum for it though... $39 shipped. Btw, I know there are a few people looking for this razor and the same seller is also selling a pristine looking one - sans box - for $35 w/ free international shipping.
The one still listed appears to be cracked on top behind the head. Look carefully before hitting BIN.
Got a reply and he said it was a smudge/reflection as be just checked it and it looked good. You guys are quick though - it just sold
The only injector razor that I do not like. The theory is interesting, but in reality the blade moves too far away from the skin to have enough of an cutting effect. Leaves too much stubble even after 3 passes.
It is not the "bar" that causes the issue, but the pivot that sets the "bar"! We will see how you fare with it.
Good purchase. I was looking at that, but being in Canada, it is just a little too pricey. Enjoy your adventure.
You wont regret that Sir....These are the Rolls Royce of Injectors for Sure... Comfortable isn't the word.... Billy
