I am a little late to the thread. But how did it go, and how many operations does it take before the transformation is complete?

I find it pretty amazing when modern medicine can change a human being to the persons true self. Congatulations to your boy for making such a brave decision and wish him good luck for me

 

Today I had my first paid photography gig. I showed a friend a photo I took last night and his wife "voluntold" him to call and pay my to take pics of their daughter for baptism invitations. I guess the cat's out of the bag now about me being a photographer. My wife told me I am one of two in our congregation, and the other refuses to do work for people.

Needles to say it was a good day. A little money on the side never hurts.

I remember the first time I sold a print at an exhibit. It was an extremely exhilarating feeling !
(The fact that the cost of printing, matting and framing it was about the same as my selling price...was almost irrelevant then )

 

A bit of sinus congestion this morning, but it's going to be a beautiful day in Sugar Land, TX. The decision will be whether I do something productive or just goof off.

Cookie aka @Darkbulb was unaware that TSD paparazzi was at said mall yesterday. Here is a photo that our photographer got.

 

Thank you! Things went great! It took about 6 hours. We returned home today already. Wednesday a quick checkup in the hospital (2 hours drive frm home *sigh* ). Now he has to strenghten again and the wounds have to heal of course. No heavy lifting or even scratching his head yet (too high). But we'll be nursing him back to health!

Thanks! That is why we stayed in a hostel nearby.

Besides, the ride home with him on the back seat would be a bit rough for him. He still has drains for the wound fluids.
