Make sure you watch the drains, you don't want your son to get a infection. No fun. He's young and will heal very fast.
Been a bit under the weather lately. Friday night I slept 17 hours straight then spent the rest of the day on the sofa trying and failing to stay awake. Today went a bit better but still feeling exhausted. Weird and frustrating.
Today has been veeeery slow. I need to study but instead I'm watching TV and working on my resume. Its the time of life for a student like me to start applying for jobs for when I finish school. Im applying to the "Big four" accounting firms and a few "smaller", but they are only smaller than the big ones, and then I'm working my way down to smaller firms and such. These jobs are not part-time jobs so there is bigger pressure on the resume to be good. So the work with them is a little slow and difficult, but I'm getting there. I need a personal letter for all of them though so.. it might take a day or 2 or 3 hahaha but thats only because I have other stuff to do, like reading haha
Excellent! I'm only going from my past experience. He's in great hands. How are you doing? How's the train?
Just a tip, when you write these letters, try to keep the haha's to a minimum. From what I understand accountants seldom have a sense of humour and are rarely joyful. They may take offense to your cheerfulness Granted, most accountant I know of work at the tax office, so that might explain things Good luck with your job hunting
Accountants are not entirely humorless, it's just that their humor is funny only to another accountant. For example: Q: Why was 6 afraid of 7? A: Because 7 8 9.
I feel stupid now for typing those haha's I know how to type a professional personal letter. I finished the first one for PwC =D it might be a little to much information. I'm gonna work on it a little
Don't be. I was just teasing you, and I apologise if it was perceived as hurtful. In fact I think it is part of your charm and they make me smile whenever I read your posts. It brings life and joy to it. I try to do the same by using smileys like a spoiled teenager on a facebook spree. But I think your ha ha's are more effective and I hope you are just as cheerful in your analog life Oops I did it again, and this time the offense was doubled by looking like a teenager and sounding like Britney Spears at the same time. As penance I ought to say something about a State of Love and Trust, but I am afraid that one has been busted down to pretext. (whatever that means)
I know you are teasing, I don't always think of it when I type. I do try to not sound boring when I type =) It's very strange, I never knew I was the cheerful type until recently when people started stating that I am haha =) who knew? But it's good for me and for the job search. I know if I just get the chance for an interview I will have a foot in!
I can understand it is frustrating (I can relate to that), but if you slept that long and still were sleepy, your body must have needed it. So listen to your body. We all should do that some more! Take it easy and take care of yourself. I hope you will feel better soon! Wishing you the best of luck in your job search! Go get 'em, tiger!
Thank you very much =) I do hope this search goes well, I don't wanna go long before I start my career. I guess no one does =P
What area of accounting are you going into? Oh! Make sure you get the office address right on the letters you send out! Its surprising how many people just throw any old thing on there just because they saw it on a website.
