    PreShave Shower

    Soap: Williams and Speick creme
    Razor 99r with Astra platinum
Post shave: WH then Bay Rum AS

First time mixing Soap and Creme, wow lather was near instantaneous! Better protection than the Williams alone.

The balm and EdT are a wonderful match to the rich shaving cream.

image.jpg Razor: Gillette New LC Bar Handle 1930s Big Boy wood case
    Brush: Stirling Synthetic 26/63 2015
Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue
    Cream: Truefitt&Hill No 10
    Blade: Feather (2)
Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black Post Shave Gel, Tommy Bahamas St. Barts cologne

I really like the LC, it's milder than the SC, which I like. Loaded a Feather blade, and checked the alignment. Whipped up some TH 10 in the OS Mug, with the Synthetic. I only dip the tips of the brush in hot water to start the lather. Very different than with my Badger brushes. Very nice two pass shave with some touchup on my trouble spot on my neck. No buffing today to give my face a rest. Warm water rinse and pat dry. Some WH and after cleanup some JB balm. Finished up with some Tommy Bahamas St. Barts cologne. This stuff is nice!

my first look at Speick AS. From the outside it looks like Gillette Cool Wave AS Splash. Nice bottle.

It is a nice bottle :). The splash inside is good stuff too. Even if it doesn't have any menthol. It's got a sort of sharp lavender scent to it and has a nice level of moisturizing for me.

Prep - Shower / Woods Of Windsor Cedar Woods soap / Pre-lather / 3 min steam
    Razor - Valet Autostrop VB4
    Blade - Feather FHS-5 Hi-Stainless (#3)
    Brush - Omega 20106
Soap - Arko / Proraso Green / glycerine / mental crystals
After - Frozen towel / Alum & WH Mix
    Result - BBS

First go with VB4, felt very mild compared to the VC3 though. Took a little buffing past the three passes but still a smooth and comfortable result.

Outstanding DFS this evening. The Ever-Ready 1914 SE provides a great 2 pass shave. Still need the Flare Tip for a cleanup. The Fine Platinum is a great A/S.
