Seventh & Final shave of a 7-Day Test Drive: Mastro Livi Custom This morning's early shave marked the seventh and my last shave using this lovely Mastro Livi Custom Straight Razor. Another great 3-pass shave! Thanks to Mike (@entropy1049 ) for generously sharing this fine razor! I not only survived the experience (relatively bloodless!), but came away very pleased with (and spoiled by) the Mastro!

6/8 Wacker SS Cade homemade boar This is one of the razors I've been using a lot lately along with a DD and a SHB OVB. Add some Oxford and Cambridge, de Ver Gulde Hand and Le savon des Volcans and we have everything covered for the last couple of months. Back to Basics: after a week with the Big Mastro Livi, this morning's 'little' razor was 'special'— a SPIKE Special. These old Union Cutlery blades do take a fine edge!

yeah Mike, I forgot to get it in the photo. Glad you got one ordered. Chris is a good guy and makes a quality handle. Are you using your own knot??
Yup. I have a 19mm HMW badger from TGN I'll be using. Chris is boring the hole a bit deeper than usual so I can set the knot a bit deeper. Give me just a wee bit more backbone.
