Gave $6 for three rather old U.S. made transparent cobalt glass mugs. Chunky three-finger handles, nice volume, another bit of a long bygone America. Couldn't pass 'em up. Some borrowed pics of the same, on the right (mine don't have the rim the one on the left has)...
Well, I usually go with dinner and a movie. Seriously though. This link has good info: http://www.oldspicecollectibles.com/Mugs/American Glass.html
picked up this razor stand, razor, and brush for $1. Does anybody know what kind this is? it had no identification marks on anything. I figured it was worth a dollar at least, so I picked it up.sry about the bad pic my phone has been crazy lately.
Received a couple of vintage shaving mugs from the late 1800's-early 1900's. For being 100 years old they don't look too bad. $20 for the pair seemed like a good deal.
The same vendor had another Black Beauty and a Blue handled Knack but I exercised some discipline and only purchased items I didnt have in my collection. It's a fine line between collecting and hourding with me
You said it so well. That's where I'm heading in the coming months I plan on really cutting back. Thanks!
