Before there was Hoppe's there was Bedford Gun Juice. Loved the smell when I was a kid when I would walk into my father's gun room...not sure however that I would want to have it hanging around my face all day.

Prep: Hot shower with Neutrogena Face Wash with menthol, home made PSO
Razor: Kamphe Bros. Lather Catcher, Imperial Razor Barbers Favorite straight razor
Blade: GEM PTFE coated SE (2)
Brush: Turkish #6
Soap: RazoRock - Tobacco #1
After: Home made ASB, Aqua Velva Musk after shave
Cologne: Prada - Amber Pour Homme Intense

It is Tobacco Tuesday! The #6 brush did a good job whipping the Tobacco #1 into a nice lather. The Lather Catcher paired with the GEM blade and the Barbers Favorite knocked down the stubble with ease. The AV and the Prada were a great finish for this Darn Fine Shave.

MdC today. 20 seconds to load the Thater Silvertip. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” SS in the FH Tech. Good smooth, close, shave. I finished with CC Modern Fougere.

Put some Trumper's Coconut into my favorite OS mug. The Badger whipped up some nice warm lather. My FB is still my favorite razor and as usual, made quick work in 2 passes WTG XTG. A little touchup on my neck ATG on 3 and done. I had enough lather left over for another pass. The WH felt good, nice and cool. After cleanup some JB and when it dried, some TOBS. Have a good one y'all!

 

I need to revisit the TOOBS cream. I remember writing a (stupid) post a few years back where I compared the two. I do think I prefered the TOOBS over GFT.

I hardly use feathers. They works just fine, but lack a certain something. I guess I need to revisit those too

 

That brush is gorgeous! I can feel how soft it is from here.
