A wonderful Saturday morning shave of two passes was the closest DFS I’ve had in a long time. The awesome Rose scent of the Dusy Kabinett was matched by its stellar performance. Thanks to the generosity of @michaelAD and the scuttlebutt on TSD for leading me to Dusy. :happy088::happy088:
The High Mountain White is fast becoming my favorite TGN knot. Scanctuary's cucumber-Melon Whipped Shea Butter is a super moisturizer that leaves my face feeling cool and smooth. :happy088: Finished off this one a generous spritz of Fine Platinum, to be followed by the Blenheim Bouquet EDT. Hope your shave is good and your Weekend too!

Just saw this about the Iced lime. Damn that's a good price. It's a big bottle

Edit: I checked eBay, it was 300kr shipped here. So, almost 34$ i can't justify that hahahaha

    Saturday 26.09.2015

It is Saturday morning and it is time to chuck out the old and bring in the new.
Last time I used only discontinued Proraso stuff, but this time I wanted to use only new formula Proraso and compare the experience.

What I first noticed was the chill. The old type did not have much menthol left in it, despite the fact that I used a "brand new" tub. The newer one gave me a cooler sensation right away. Not too much, just enough to be noticeable.
The lather also seemed to be of better quality, not much, just enough to be noticeable.

I used the same razor and blade combo as last time, and if you put all this together you get the recipe of a perfect shave.
I belive the razor and blade combo deserve the most of the credit, but Proraso's reputation as a solid performer is not without merit.

The aftershave was a nice finish to this shave, and also here I give the edge to the new formula. Not by much, but enough to be noticeable.

    Razor: Gillette Bell Tech
    Blade: Iridium Super (2)
    Brush: Proraso Boar Brush
    Soap: Proraso Green New Formula
    Aftershave: Proraso Green New Formula
    Balm: Proraso White

No worries Ryan, Shaving oil works great on sensitive areas like necks. Enjoy your beard. Hey, try some beard oils if you don't have any already. Have a great weekend.

Well, my compliments to the lovely country of Norway - they have a hell of a winner with this Brutalt Bra soap. The scent is really, really nice and it lathers very easily. I must admit that the container is rather small but that's ok because not much is required to get going. The skincare is also pretty damed good, even if I say so myself. The Booster Iced Lime compliments this soap very well indeed. I had a most enjoyable shave, and very BBS!
