Thanks Clint. I appreciate the kind words. Congratulations on your one-year anniversary which comes around on October 1st! Likewise, I have enjoyed learning from you and getting to know you as well. With all your BBS shaves, it's just a downright shame that you'll never experience this feeling of freedom riding your motorcycle.
Thanks Charlie. I can say I've never had a ride like that. Here is a link from a video of Wade and I riding last winter above Helen, GA. The video is shot from Wade's bike. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzlPu_QWqG5KSThRUi1IZ0lLQVk/view?usp=sharing
Clint, thanks for sharing the video. I enjoyed taking the ride along with you guys through that beautiful country.
Congratulations on your 1 year TSD anniversary! It wouldn't be the same place without you. I've enjoyed and learned a lot from you and many other members of our Den family too.
Menthol Monday, September 28, 2015 B-3 Mongoose with Triad Ti Helix Hex Feather Pro #4 Varlet Beehive Badger 24 X 50mm Krampert’s Frostbite Soap Alum, Dickinson’s ++Menthol, Gold Bond Green Lotion Krampert’s Frostbite Aftershave Excellent two pass near BBS today. Started with Mr. Glo Soap. The Beehive Handle may be one of the ideal designs for a shave brush. The Varlet Knot has outstanding flow through, excellent face coverage, with substantial backbone, and holds enough lather for more than 3 passes. It loaded up in seconds with icy cool Frostbite and whipped up a mountain of creamy slick lather in a New York minute. I will continue to ride the smooth comfortable shave of the Mongoose through OCtober occasionally using one of my OC razors. Finished this great shave off with a healthy cold splash of Krampert's Frostbite Aftershave. Hope you all had a smooth easy shave today. Have a good week folks!
It s almost the 28th out on the prairie... And I would like to say congrats to Charlie ( @wristwatchb ) for a great year on TSD! He and I joined within two weeks of one another, and he was one of the 30 Day Originals. Thanks Charlie for all you bring to the table, and look forward to a great year 2! Keep it Dangerous!
I love Helen, GA! My grandparents and I went there often as a child. I've also spent a lot of time around Lake Lanier, but back when GA 400 was gravel. My great-grandparents (I knew them both) lived out their lives just outside of Dahlonega. My great aunt still lives there at age 93. North GA will always be dear to me.
There must be a SWMBO society "stock response" manual. I got the exact same response 28 years ago as I rounded 2nd base on my way to a triple when my right hamstring popped as though I had been hit dead on by a sniper. As I somersaulted and stumbled into 3rd base, in the worst agony I had ever experienced, I heard SWMBO exclaim - " What did you do that for?!!" I gave the same response as you did Neal. Hmmm...the best part was the face looked great? No big deal that you almost gave yourself a prefrontal lobotomy. Oh well as we'd all say - "you look mah-velous!" and "I'd rather look good than to feel good."
