I've been under the weather a tad this past weekend and today. Good news is it gave me time to sit back (watch some football) and reflect on the past month of shaves.
Here's my SEptember Recap.
Razors I've used for the first time this month:
Injectors
Schicks (C1, C3, E2, G, I2, J3) and PAL Adjustable injector.
Other SE
Gems (1912, Bullet, Clog-Pruf, G-Bar, Featherweight, Pushbutton)
Everready 1924 “Shovelhead"
A month of all pluses and nary a minus or two.
Both a plus and minus was the fact that I shaved with 15 razors this month - great for all the exposure

to razors I’ve never used before, but nearly impossible to do a legitimate assessment beyond first impressions. I have no idea how Crazy Ivan does it @

On the plus side, it opened up a whole new world of possibilities for me regarding razor choice - it’s clear that I will not become strictly a DE user. Most all shaves this month were good to excellent. I experienced just one poor shave (that I will totally take responsibility for due to operator error). In fact, many of the SEs this month provided as good or better shaves than what I’ve experienced so far with DEs. Though I still have yet to try the Gillette OCs and non-adjustable TTOs.
The best part of SEptember was that it provided me an opportunity to narrow down the field of razors that I will consider spending more time with - all while I got a month of great shaves!
So those that I hope to schedule more time with will be the Schicks E2 and I2, PAL Adjustable, Gem 1912 and EverReady1924. How soon, I do not know.
Considering I have 3 Gillettes (Tech, Fatboy and Slim) that I can already use in a rotation, plus 4 OCs and 4 other razor types that I have yet to try - I can see it may take awhile to get to know them all very well.
However, I will soon make a dedicated effort to give solid focus to my Schick C1 Repeater, which I hope to make my travel razor for my frequent business trips which begin again in earnest come January.
Thanks to all who have followed along with my posts this month, but most of all to so many of you who comment, give advice and help me out and laugh along the way. I couldn’t have done these first 5 months without TSD, it's Denizens and this thread!

See you in OCtober!
