Mongoose Owners Razor Society (MORS)

I don't thank there making much of anything. I need to go in the razor making business.

 

Nothing new on their Facebook page since they announced they were in prototype on Feb. 28

 

My guess is the OC base plate will come after they release the Alumigoose if at all.

 

As far as I know they are still making Mongoose razors as fast as they can.

 

I hope so....I sent in payment on the 22nd...

Rufus how long was you on the list?

 

If you haven't received the razor today id send them an email as that's unusually long time between payment and receiving it.

 

I've been "on the list" for a new one since August 3rd hopefully I'll hear soon. I want the new model with the locator pins that go through the baseplate and I don't need the monster handle. If I get it I'll put this one out on the Bay .( Disclaimer.. I am not asking for nor will I entertain any offers for my razor on this forum so please don't ask.) Sorry, I had to put that out there.

 

My name came up at Mongoose, again. I ordered a back up Polished Head Mongoose.

 

Cool how long was the wait I'm at like 10 weeks.

 

My name came up today as well. I sent my request on July 11, so a little over 13 weeks.

 

I signed up on July 10 about 13 wks ago.

 

How many of you guys are also straight razor users?

 

Very rarely, and mostly a Feather AC Kamisori.

 

I will hopefully be a member here soon. I'm on the waiting list and hope to receive my Goose still this year.

The 2 shaves that i had with a loaned Mongoose were the best shaves i had so far. Amazing!!! Can't wait to get it.

 

According to the USPS tracking, my Mongoose will be here Friday. I can't wait to take it for a test drive.
