10/03/2015 Razor – Wolfman OC with Triad Helix SS Blade – Feather (3) Brush – Olivewood with TGN Finest Fan Lather – Jabonman Citricos Post - Witch Hazel & Fine L’Orange Having friends over to watch the game today, so I'm up early to get the house ready. Another great shave with the Wolfman. A great way to start the day.
FaTip Grande my FaTip is the Grande model. it has a gun metal finish. used today with an astra sp. it knicked my chin on the first pass. no pain, just a little blood appeared. sorta goes with the reputation of this razor. very close shaves, but it'll bite. people report bad finish. mine has none of these issues. it aligns properly. the weight of the razor is very nice. all in all, it's a mean little razor. but I like it. it does give a very close shave.
Dove Men Face Wash Mitchell's Wool Fat Jayaruh #18 Silver Tip Gillette NEW SC/Micromatic Bullet-tip * 1947 BYR Personna SS/GEM Stainless CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayers Lemon WH Pinaud Lilac Vegetal The Mitchell's Wool Fat face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #18 Silver Tip brush. First pass with my Micromatic Bullet-tip razor and a GEM Stainless Single Edge blade followed by second pass with the Gillette SC NEW gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Lilac Vegetal as an after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
French Louis open comb SE... 03/10/15 Three Pass Shaving Routine... Hot Water prep & massage with Coconut Oil Louis French Hoe SE Gem Stainless (Modified) Se Blade x 2 Semogue Boar Brush Alphy & Becs Natural Shaving Soap (added Argan oil) Organic Aloe Vera Gel LOGONA Man Aftershave Balm (From Germany) I achieved a most perfect BBS result with with this lovely French Louis Hoe Open Comb....I would honestly equate this French Hoe to a Schick F Type Injector...This razor is quite aggressive, but ever so smooth and forgiving....I have three French Hoes and they shave as efficiently as any Schick injector for sure....I utilize a full Gem spine & a Half Gem spine behind the blade to replicate the intended shaving angle of the original wedge blade....I can only say get one of these as you wont regret it...Aggressive but ever so smooth and forgiving.... French Hoes are the Dogs Danglies.... Billy
I've been away for a few days, but I'm back. I just want to jump in to the discussion. I used my Gillette New OC this morning and loaded it with a 7 O'Clock black. I used my Stirling glacial lemon chill and had a great shave this morning. I finished it off with some Skin Bracer. Close and comfortable! I love this combo! Pictures later.

Thank you. Yes, that's the spalted maple. The 24 mm silver tip is so soft and luxurious. It is my favorite brush, I think.
French Hoes are the Dogs Danglies.... Yeah, I think I've heard that before - but I could never get past all that rouge.
T&H PSO AOS Lavender Cream T&H Wellington Super Badger GEM OCMM GEM SS (2) Osma Alum Block AOS Lavender After Shave Balm Working with the only OC I have. Working is the key word here. Incredibly smooth shave but still work (with a few weepers in the chin area - no matter how careful I was.)
guys( and gals, if any), I'm gonna drop out of OCtober for a day or two. I've got a new razor, and I want to use it for a few days. I'll pick it back up with the next open comb in a couple days.
