And an aftershave.. And razor, blades, yeah I like to spend money. I give away a lot, I have two sons that are very active wet shavers. Vincent and Omar. I gave up golf when my knee went out.
That's so smart! The downside is it will be a while before I finish my proraso soap =P which isn't really a bad thing
A friend brought me this razor. he wanted 10.00, but I offered him 5.00 and an old pop bottle. The razor was missing the top cap, but the case and the blade container are worth that, and I have 3 other old types I do not even use. From my research on Mr. Razor the set is either a Shawmut or a plain Old Type. The blade holder is somewhat unique as I have not seen one with a made in Canada inscription
My order from whipped dog came it. I got the flawed poorman's strop but I don't see anything flawed about it except that one edge wasn't cut as smooth as the other. The 20mm synthetic in the bergundy handle is nice. I prefer the dry feel of it better then the razorock one I got in for my fiance earlier this week. The sample wedge of MWF smells great. I grated it and packed it into a cup. I'll try to use it today. I'm just sad there wasn't more. I have to oil the strop still before I use it but since my razor is touring the country (thanks USPS) I have plenty of time.
I just looked it up G is first year. I found a slim today I-2 very nice shape. Cleaning it up now. I will post picture once my wife gets home. I have to use her phone. Mine is acting up. Scrounging is a blast now. My wife loves looking for art supplies so now when we go I have something to search for. @ great weeks in a row for me.
