The RazoRock P.160 face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #18 Silver Tip brush. First pass with my Micromatic Bullet-tip razor and a GEM Stainless Single Edge blade followed by second pass with the Gillette SC NEW gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Lilac Vegetal after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Well we finally are back home. We left on 24Sep15 and got home 04Oct15.

On Monday 28 Oct 15 we had a problem with our Propane Detector so on Tuesday 29Oct15 we left the campground and came home to San Diego County, and went and had the RV repaired. We came home and I picked up some items and I picked up my "Oscar 11" Custom 24/48mm TGN Super Finest Black & White Resin Handle ** {This is my Favorite Travel Brush & Most Cherished}.
The VDH Pure Badger brush, stayed home.(and is going to a good home but will no longer live here) After we go the RV fixed we went and stayed at The Elk's Lodge from 29Sep15 until 03Oct15. (The HOA Gestapo are doing termite repairs), So we stayed at the Elks Lodge, $96.00 as compared to KOA for $296.48 plus tax. (for four days).

Day 5
Only a 2 pass shave tonight as it is the last day with this blade and my angle of attack (Gillette Slide) has improved. Hate to put this razor away for a while, as it is one of my favorites. But my rule is to use a razor and blade for 7 days then change. The Don Donato is a good soap, but I firmly believe that Iced TSD soaps are better. IMHO(YMMV). I really like the Pinuad Lime A/S.

 

Home- It's a grunt thing.

I can never stop loving my Palmolive Menthol cream because it's so wonderful - its lovely minty, refreshing scent, its super rich, easy to build lather, and its icy menthol punch which feels so good both during a shave and after a cold water rinse as well as the soothed, relaxed post-shave it gives. The Lucky Tiger a/s cream is another chilly, wonderful product which moisturizes and cools the skin after a shave, and the Proraso Green aftershave is a chilly, classy product in its own right. I can also never stop loving these Derby blades!

 

Where do you get that shave cream?

 

Oh, the Palmolive Menthol? I bought some from Italian Barber.
