Wow! Looks promising! When the big ones start with these scents it can only mean one thing! We will see an increasing interest in "Classic" brands with these scents. Bergamott... mmmm... I LOVE bergamott... been secretly stealing SWMBO's bergamot skin lotion
I do agree with you mike, but maybe this could be the cross over to a new market. Hopefully it could inspire someone to look a little further into these unique fragrances...that is assuming the fragrances are what we would expect bergamot, amber, and vetiver to smell like.
I can only second that Axe still is the brand for young kids below the age of 10. Or could you imagine being with a woman liking your Axe-perfume, asking what brand you were wearing? I'd rather wanna respond "Floris" or "Penhaligon's", but I definitely don't wanna have to answer "Axe"
I don't know about hip-factor versus sophistication, but I can certainly appreciate some of the Axe scents, just as I don't like a few of the "sophisticated"... To me it seems a bit like judging the book by it's covers dismissing it like that... And I care more about the scent than the brand, but we are all different I guess.
My son is 11 and uses Old Spice Body Wash and Pinaud Country Club Shampoo. Old school baby, that's how we roll
Surprisingly no, he wants to be like dad... Of course this will all change in a few I'm sure when he hits his teens and the rebellion kicks in
Yes but as we all know when you hit your 20's you have the "dad was right". It is what Alcoholics refer to as a moment of clarity. :happy102 Example, I use to think Old spice and Aqua Velva were for old men. :happy102
Had the chance to smell the Axe Bergamot last night, had one of those paper samples or whatever in a magazine I got in the mail. The ad stated new "subtle" fragrances from Axe. Well, let me just say that this stuff is anything but subtle, and I definitely didn't smell any bergamot. Same old nasty super strong axe IMO.
I purchased one of the spray cans just once but I do not recall what manufacturer it was. After my workout/shower at the gym I gave myself a few quick burst from the can and thought, "What the hell is this...?" An older gent asked what it was and looked puzzled - it wasn't good at all. A younger kid, maybe in his twenties asked because he thought it was great. I tossed it on over and said, "It's now yours."
I've read the Vetiver and Amber scents are actually quite good. I'd try before I buy though, if I were you.
