The Col. Conk Bay Rum Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #1 Silver Tip brush. First pass with the Gillette SC NEW followed by second pass with my Micromatic Bullet-tip razor and a GEM Stainless Single Edge blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Lilac Vegetal after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I was on my fourth shave with the same blade this morning (Personna) and it just wasnt cutting it (pun intended). After shaving with Schick Injectors in Sept, I had forgot DE blades dont last 10 shaves..... A new blade in the Sheraton and it provided another efficient shave.

Day 3 on this combo, but a bit of a paradoxical shave. On one hand, it was the closest yet with this combo. OTOH, about halfway through, something just failed and the rest of the shave seemed to have a lot of tugging. (Blade fatigue?)

On to the Astra SP tomorrow.

This was my 5th shave with the MMOC. I'm still trying to tame the beast. The Shave surprisingly went very well. No cuts, no weepers, not much irritation feedback from the tell tale alum bloc. I don't try to chase the baby much and especially not with this razor. I took my time, watched my angles, and kept the beast at a good angle. It rewarded me with a good, fine, shave. I will use this razor more this month just to see if I can continue to receive the love it has to offer.

Still working the GEM OCMM. Hope springs eternal and I tried out blade buffing over the area between my lips and chin. Felt fine but the minefield of weepers it left told a different story. Tomorrow I take a break from the open comb to try out a PAL Injecto Matic I should be getting today.

Erasmic Shaving Cream (added Argan oil)

Logona Mann Aftershave Balm

I am using a cut down Gem stainless blade in the French Prima...This razor is very aggressive and take 100 % focus...I haven't used it enough to get familiar with it...This is the second time I have used it and it whacks down the whiskers with ease....I settled for a nice smooth DFS result....The PRIMA is a high class razor...This thing has a real high quality Nickel Plating and is quite a heavy weight...The handle turns and pushes at the bottom to release the top cap very much like a ball point pen.....These were not meant for the Ruffians & the Vagabonds that's for sure....Classy & Rare French Job at their Best....

Same great shave as yesterday. Smooth and clean face all the way around, with no irritation. Excellent first shave with this blade, and just as good on this second shave. I'm pretty much sold now on this razor / blade combination as well as the 7 o'clock Blues. On more shave with this combo tomorrow should do it. And then on to the next razor.
