From the REAL pricey brands, I found I liked Kenny Cole and Polo the best. I had a chance to sniff Kenny Cole and Polo from magazine pages. Free samples lol.
Wednesday Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Bath Soap-Scots Pine Sheep Soap: Martin de Candre-Fougere Razor: Gillette New Short Comb Blade: Personna Med Prep (1) Brush: Plisson #12 Badger-22mmx56mm Aftershave: Country Club-Modern Fougere WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard) MdC today. 20 seconds to load the Plisson Badger. Easy, thick, slick, lather. I loaded a new Personna Med Prep in the NEW SC. Great smooth, close, shave. I finished with CC Modern Fougere Bob
It was Glacial Spearmint that scared me away from the heavily mentholated products. Maybe if I didnt live close to the north pole I would enjoy them more
I made a comment in "sports" about the length of the beard of that Astros pitcher. Never saw one THAT close to the ground.

All the Glacials have that same menthol attack, my man - they could make a polar bear or a penguin want to move to Miami!
SOTD October 7, 2015 Prep: Hot Shower. Axe Energizing Face Wash Boost Razor: Gillette Old Type Blade: Personna Lab Blue Lather: Shannon's Soap Falling Leaves Brush: Omega 10066 Post: Thayers Cucumber WH. Gold Bond Ultimate Aftershave: Folsom & Co. Muir I have a head cold so I'm not sure about the scent of Falling Leaves. Very good performance! The Gillette Old Type again was spectacular, a very close 3 pass shave. Never let the things you WANT Make you forget the things you HAVE
Razor: Gillette New SC Red & Black set 1930s Brush: e-shave finest Badger Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue Cream: Cella classica 1899 Blade: Feather (2) Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black Balm, Old Spice original Shulton 1973 glass AS Stopper #4 Back with the Gillette New SC, I really like both the LC and SC. Loaded a Feather blade, and checked the alignment. The Badger whipped up a thick warm lather in my go to OS Mug. Very close two pass shave with some touchup. More aggressive than the LC so I had to pay close attention. Warm water rinse and pat dry. Some WH and after cleanup some JB Balm. Finished with some Vintage Old Spice AS from 1973! Nice razor, great feedback and I can get into some spots on my neck with only a little buffing. I'm glad I got both the SC and LC. Y'all have a good one!
