This Valobra soap is so nice to use...very slick and easy on my skin.

I have recently become obsessed with vintage OS products. Just picked this up:

RAZOR: GILLETTE TECH/PROBAK

BLADE: GILLETTE 7OCLOCK YELLOW

BRUSH: FINE ANGEL HAIR SYNTHETIC

SOAP: GODREJ SHAVING ROUND

POST: REEF POINT SUBMARINER A/S, NOXZEMA


I found the key on the bottom of the puck of Godrej to be pretty cool. It made me think what is the key to getting a great shave? Experimentation. So I decided to take a shower after the shave, instead of before, so I washed my face with Noxzema after the shave and it worked out pretty well. Better than it did as a pre shave for me. Finished off with Reef Point after the shower and it feels great. Hope everyone has a great shave and a great day!

Great! Another Old Spice junkie in the making! I've never had the Leather, what's it like?

Had a really good shave this morning with my iKon B1 razor.

Razor: Gillette Aristocrat 1947 (Birth Razor)
Blade: Voskhod Teflon Coated (2)
Brush: WDC-4 Silver Tip Butterscotch Handle (VIG) 24/67
Bowl: Knock Out Shave
Soap: Jack's Soap
A/S: Pinaud Musk

Same procedure today, added a little menthol crystals to this soap, and it worked out very well. I am very surprised at the Voskhod blade. It provides a very close shave with very little resistance. Glides very smoothly in in the Aristocrat. Pretty well kept the same angle of attack tonight as I'm still learned this new blade. 3 passes as always.
