Hahaha im not hunting elephants no =P but I guess I like to exaggerate a little. Hey, how strong are the arrows? I know they are carbon. But if I shoot wooden targets can they break?
Different bows are designed for differrent uses. A bow with a narrower weight range may be faster, but less adjustable. I really think more adjustable bows are best for starters. As for arrows, they can be made of carbon fiber or aluminum. Carbon is lighter (& consequently faster) while aluminum is more durable. I am not clear on your description of a "wooden target". Do you mean that the entire target face is made of wood or just the frame?
You have a very good point there! Hmm.. The 50-75 seems really nice. But it's probably best to get one that is more adjustable. Hmm, carbon sounds good. What do you use? The wood I'm referring to a 3D animal target. The surface is wooden at least. But I'm not sure
I actually searched on a second hand site. There was A LOT of bows.. I never knew. There was some nice bows there. I might consider it. I could get a bow cheaper than market price
It was fun. We shot 30 arrows & I scored 224/300. I also managed to outshoot a couple of other archers.
Went to the shooting range today. And shot this (yeah, and the other shots as well, so the average wasn't super, but still...):
@Sara-s , I just watched this video on the Archer's Paradox. It is very interesting. Also, for a bonus, towards the end (about 7:25), the guy shoots the head off of a cartridge razor. Cool. Check it out.
Does it count that i use crossbows archery i haven't done it in year i need to find a cocker to help me draw the it back.
