Thank you! Indeed! Glad to see my hard work is paying off at work! And the baby news the same day was just the icing on the cake.
Had some friends over this morning. Becky made some cider donuts and we sat outside around the firepit, eating donuts, drinking coffee, shooting the breeze and enjoying a cool fall morning. Then I cut the grass. Probably the penultimate cut for the year. I'm hoping, anyway.
sounds like a nice morning. But did you remember to send my donuts via express this time? Last time they arrive stale.
Limping around the streets of SF. Dropped off a suit for alterations to accommodate my gibbonesque long arms, picked up some gout home remedy stuff. Staying away from my weekend beers until the foot is better. Just had some vietnamese food and am now off to hang out down by the water meeting up with a friend. Didn't shave today.
Rubbish. My little girl Daisy, has relapsed for a third time with her nephrotic syndrome. After her last remission we really hoped we'd seen the last of the damn problem. But no. We're 5 months down the line and she's worse than ever. She's so full of steroids she's so upset and is inconsolable when she's worked up. By Monday were be in day 7 out of eight with her at hospital. However Monday's visit is to a new renal specialist and hopefully someone with a idea of where we go from here. Can I ask if anyone has any experience with ' nephrotic syndrome'. We keep being told it is quite rare, and none of the doctors have any experience with it. All I know is 5 months down the line and were no where. I'm also massively concerned about the amount of time she's on steroids. I understand they should be doing her more good than the detrimental effect of the use of the steroids. But I'm not happy. And no ones listening. Sorry. Think I started ranting. ( but you did ask how my day was).
It's OK to rant to us, if you need to. We are here to support one another. I am sorry about your daughter's health, and wish I had some useful information for you.
Began with a shortened workout at the gym, as I had to pick up my Mom from her perm appointment. We got some groceries at a farmstand. A nice lunch followed. Then I went for my own groceries. Ready to eat dinner while listening to my favorite hockey team, on the computer.
