Italian Barber selles a house brand for $20. I've had a sample of Floid Blue and they're pretty close.

Hearing of the spotted owl always reminds me of the joke about the guy who gets caught by Park Rangers eating a Bald Eagle........

Is that the one that ends with..."tasted like a cross between a whooping crane and a spotted owl"?

Booster Polar Ice is similar to Floid if memory serves me.

I heard it as " a slightly more tender than Californian Condor but tangier than spotted owl"

    Jim99 Gold Water Shaver

Well, well, well... Look at what the mailman delivered to me yesterday. It's a Gillette Rocket! I used it today just to try it out. I know, it's still OCtober and I'm loving the shaves I've been getting with my Gillette New razors. I just couldn't wait. Anyway, it's a beauty and it feels like a super speed made to exacting standards. Definitely built to higher quality. I paired it up with a 7 O'clock black blade and got a great shave. I can see me using this baby as my daily razor.

I have only one issue with it. The seller on e-bay said it was the heavy weight rocket. Well, I placed it on a scale this morning and it rang in at 57 grams. I'm a bit bummed as I thought I was buying the 72 gram rocket. I do want to keep it as it seems to be a fantastic razor, but I guess I'm still in the market for the real heavyweight rocket.

I have a British Rocket and it's a great razor! You are correct it could be a daily shaver no problem, do you have an Aristocrat? Enjoy your Rocket!

I was surprised by this arrival today by USPS. Sorry about the poor PIC quality. The Pics do not do this strop justice

I had been looking for a new strop. I was lucky enough to catch a Tony Miller Old No. 2 Heirloom. Brand new straight from Tony's workshop.

This strop has the very little draw but is silky smooth when you are running a razor across the leather.

The Aristocrat IMO is Gillette's greatest razor made, perfect balance, perfect shave every time. I hope you can get one soon.
