Well, it's happened. We had a fun tournament at the archery club today, to kick off the season. I managed to outshoot the 9-year old who (when he was 8) kicked my butt last year.
Drove from Tucson to Puerto Penasco, MX yesterday in 4 hours. No hold up at the border going South, there was a long line of cars (40) going North at 10:30 AM. No problemas! First day at the beach is overcast.
Sorry been away, work is going ok, trying to get settled in to my new position. Nothing new really. Enjoyed a cigar this evening, not a bad smoke, little mild for my taste but enjoyable. Been trying to work on my outboard, blown rings and stripped plugs...Anyway just wanted to let every one know that Im still alive.
Yesterday was a tough day for me, my Moms ashes were laid to rest in Trenton, New Jersey. My older sister took Mom to her final resting place.
Thanks, Mark! She passed February 24 of this year, I'm not sure why it took so long for her ashes to be buried. That wasn't my decision.
very good day..began with the barbarette slicing off my hair to make me look MY age, and not that of someone HALF my age. (Actually, there may be a grammatical error somewhere in there..OOPS). Then driving my Mom to various errands before her catscan and cateract surgery. Then the monthly Council on Aging Board meeting.
