Oh well, time for bed. Think I'll settle in for a few chapters of The Old Man and the Lake. Night all.
Wait, wait.... Don't count sheep, do lambs! ( no that's not right) Oh, oh, I know..... a little Mother Goose before bed? We'll have a verse of "the Cow jumped over the moon barn!" Okay, okay, goodnight 30-Day thread.
Don't even think about it.....nooo...ok, anyone up for a 10 Day Focus.....doh!!! I didn't say it...I only repeated what one of you was thinking....
Yikes......Chris is Da Man!....That is some pretty incredible summarizing prowess the likes of which are seldom seen...... And Whoot! Bama's favorite Baseball Movies: Calf Durham, Mr 2000, Yard of Dreams, 32, The 1000 Dollar Arm, 6 Men Out, A League of Her Own... OK thats what I'm hittin'.......what you got....?
Yo Bama...I just realized....you called the Puppy Card....Man, you're smoking! AND you're doing the Puppy thing.... Man, I haven't had a Dog since my best friend past in 90...and my wife has never had a puppy...Sooo we got a puppy about a month ago...8 week old Lab/Rottweiler mix...Soo cute, smart and I had puppy watch for the first week....Maaann, I guess, that 2 hour cycle of walking etc, etc...Don't get me wrong...I was crazy for that pooch, but Your words, when you pulled the Puppy Card, did not fall on deaf ears.... Course you're gonna have to fess up on what kind, how old, etc...Can't pull the card without producing the pup....ha,ha Mine:
10/17/2015 Razor – Gillette Red & Black New Deluxe Blade – 7 O’clock Blue (2) Brush – Romera Olivewood Synthetic Lather – Catie’s Bubbles Santal Sensuelle Post - Witch Hazel & Captain’s Choice Sandalwood I certainly had an off day to day as far as shaving. All the shaves this week have been an A to A+ but I would be generous in giving today's shave a B. Everything was going pretty well through the first 2 passes but started to fall apart on the ATG pass with a great deal of tugging and pulling. I ended up with 2 small weepers and no where near a BBS shave. On the positive side, this little Romera Synthetic brush is truly something else. It just flat works with everything from easy to lather soaps like Catie's Bubbles to the difficult soaps like Mystic Water. The fact that it looks fantastic only adds to the enjoyment. Thanks again Mark, @Boojum1 for such as nice gift. Finished off with a splash of CC Sandalwood and I'm off to the Flea Market. Hope everyone has a great Saturday.
Aw shucks, I threw away my Clubman Tonic so as to clear space for my two Clubman hair gels coming(by the way, they now have been officially shipped-I am so excited). Clubman doesn't make you wait long on puchases.
SOTD October 17, 2015 Prep: Hot Shower. Axe Energizing Face Wash Boost Razor: Gillette Super Speed 1953 Y2 Blade: Personna Lab Blue Lather: Italian Barber Rosa di Bossolasco Brush: RazoRock Plissoft Post: Thayers Cucumber WH. Gold Bond Ultimate Aftershave: Myrsol F./Extra I really enjoyed this shave. The 53 Super Speed is easy to use, if you haven't tried the new IB $4.99 soaps you owe it to yourself... Outstanding all around product. Myrsol F./Extra continues to impress me with its healing properties. Great stuff. I ordered a door storage organizer for my back stock of soaps, I hope this helps me get my hard to reach soaps more accessible. Never let the things you WANT Make you forget the things you HAVE
I thought this thread was about shaving. But I go to bed and you guys have a comedy session. Great shenanigans everyone!
30 day focus - Day 17 Fat Boy set to 9 Voskhod Blade MDC Face Lathered 3 passes 3 passes and a great shave today.
I think my face is healed up from my last Russian run in. Today I'll try it again with a different soap or cream.
Neal's style is a blend of Stephen King, Edgar Allen Poe, and Kurt Vonnegut. In other words, his posts can keep you awake at night.
