I went searching for Puig Agua Lavanda and ended up ordering it and and some shipping buddies. Puig Agua Lavanda Puig Agua Brava Grey Flannel Cuba Gold Royal Copenhagen I feel Ive rounded out my cheap cologne supply now quite nicely
I am not an expert, but the bottle appears to be from the 70's.(similar to my Lime AS) There are more knowledgeable Old Spice users on this forum than I; perhaps they will chime in. I am not too thrilled with the pump cap, so I am going to switch it out with another OS bottle.
It's just that I don't recall seeing an Old Spice "Fresh Scent" that is green. 70's is OK. I'll have to give this one a "sniff" though I'm sure it smells great.
I remember trying Grey Flannel, but I think I was too young(well, not "teen-age" young). It was a gift from my first brother-in-law.
The USPS vortex around Fort Worth seems to be holding. I am still waiting on a synthetic WD knot from Larry.
I recently started browsing eBay again for a Gillette Aristocrat as it's been quite a while (April) since I've purchased anything. I found an auction offering 2 nice pieces, a post-war Aristocrat and a Red Tip Superspeed. I do not have either of these razors so I was very excited. Anyway, I won both of them with a bid of $35 ($3 shipping) and both are in excellent condition. I took my time on this one and it sure paid off. They're due on Thursday and I'll post pics once they arrive.............
Waiting on a Stirling order with 6 soaps, 2 bath bars, 2 aftershaves, some Voskhod blades, and a partridge in a pear tree...
Hello Everyone, I scored this from a member of another forum, who originally listed it on eBay. When it didn't sell on eBay, I contacted him and asked him to sell it to me. He did so, and it is scheduled to arrive today. It is a 1920's Gillette Pocket Edition. Here's the screenshot of it- I can hardly wait to add it to its 15 relatives already here! Have a great day!
Thank you sir! On another forum I am well known for my love of the ABC/Gillette Pocket Editions. They are fantastic shavers too.
It looks like my knot has broken out of the Texas vortex and will be delivered today. If it is not, you can bet I will be back to let you know.
