Haven't seen Nivea maximum on the shelves over here in Boise, where did you get yours?

 

I thought Stetson only came as a cologne. Pretty nice that it is a cooling moisture aftershave, too.

 

Excellent picture. A great candidate for October calendar picture. IMHO.

 

I might look at the Fine set for next summer. That's one of the things I've enjoyed about TSD....OPTIONS!

 

Hey, since you're from Boise, let me tell you that the DialforMen Odor Armor deodorant soap I now have is ALMOST as blue as the Boise State football stadium turf .

 

You know I have been to two games and something about looking at that turf makes me nauseous so now I stay home and watch the games on TV. Also down on the field when you stand on one sideline and look across the field is crowned so much to allow drainage you cannot see the benches on the other side.

It does. And it doesn't have much menthol. To me it's a warming sensation. But has a great scent.

 

It's a bodywash called Maximum Hydration(from Nivea). I got mine at CVS, but there's better variety at K-Mart.

This sounds like a clone of Gillette Cool-Wave Aftershave splash. That is, a clone in the sense of not having much menthol when you'd think it would.

 

The Salter Sandalwood is one of my favorites. (Closest to true sandalwood that I have found)

 

Stayed with the GEM OCMM today. Also tried face lathering (quite by accident - without thinking I simply took the brush to my face after loading it.) Staying flatter with the OCMM and the Alum Block agreed. Oh, and the face lathering worked great. I can see my bowl gathering dust. Maybe still useful when I use a tube instead of a tub? Perhaps one more day with the OCMM to keep working my technique. After all, it still is OCtober.
