Every time I try to upload a picture I get a message saying the file is too big. I need advice please.
You could either resize the pic (to make it a smaller file) or you could use a hosting site like photobucket or picasa. Hope this helps.
When I have a pic that's too big (MB-wise) I use the Windows Snipping Tool to "snip" a smaller portion and re-save it. Works every time.
Just curious, how do you resize a pic? I don't have any editing software. Our do you reduce the resolution? BTW I use my phone.
If you're using a computer to upload pictures go to postimage.org to resize your photos. Choose 800 X 600.
Irfanview is a great free image editor. http://www.irfanview.com/ You can crop, rotate, resize and add all kinds of special effects. I resize all mine to 800x600 with Irfanview.
If you use the tapatalk app for the forum, it should resize it for you automatically. That's what I've been doing.
Sorry, thought you were using the phone. That app is available in any app store, Android or apple. For a PC, you can try using the program paint that should be in your accessories. I'm not on a PC right now or I would talk you through it. Tomorrow at work, if you haven't figured it out by then, I will gladly give you a step by step.
It is a goto program for me. I have been using it since about 1998. It is the first program I will download to a new computer.
