I got my email today, sent my order in, got invoiced and it shipped! Went with the polished version. I'm thinking it will be here before the weekend. Time to get my other one cleaned up and get it on the Bay.

 

Was this for a B3?

I ask because I notice here recently that they are giving buyers an option for B2 it seems...

 

Yeah I wanted the new version with the long pins and I like the new " Ginger Swirl " handle. I already have the B2 with both polished handles.

 

I'm interested in your thoughts on the B3 compared to the B2.

The tracking says it will be here tomorrow! Shipped from Opa Locka Fl. I might have driven over to pick it up just to see the operation. I'm only 2 hours away.

 

I'm sure the shave is the same, but the loading and cleaning should be a tad easier. The new handle is nice and they only charge $10 more as opposed to just the razor head.
The older version is also nice. Loading the blade isn't really a problem but could be easier. As far as the handles go I like the dub slim, even without knurling the grip is not an issue. The dub legend handle is really heavy and big and not for me.
I'm going to post photos of each razor so that some of the other readers that may not have one yet can see the difference between the two.
Really no matter your choice this is a fine razor by every measure.

 

Great, mine came in today! A B2 polished, looks great, now l gotta wait for blades!

 

When will you get blades? The wait must be pretty tough having that jewel in your hand and not being able to use it yet!

@ChiefShaver , how is customs in Germany? I've always believed we in Denmark have the most annoying and expensive customs department in the world, where everything above ~13 USD is heavily fee'd and VAT applied.

 

It´s not the badest custom. I think others are much more expensive. The only thing i have to complain, is the speed. I had a razor sitting at customs for about 4 weeks. As i talked to my local custom office, they told me, if the parcel is in Frankfurt (Main Custom office) that could take some time and they couldn´t look for it. I have to wait...with the words from a Company named "Blizzard": It´s done, when it´s done!!!

Here in Germany are amounts about 25€ fee´d and VAT applied. But not that heavily. I´m very glad for that.

But i think, when my Mongoose will arrive, i will have to pay a bigger amount for Tax and Fees.

The new Goose arrived today on schedule. I'm going to say it is pretty nice. I made some notes on the weight of the razors and handles of both of these, the B2 and B3.
The dub slim and the new ginger swirl handles weight is the same at 88g.
The new razor head is slightly heavier at 54g, the B2 53g.
Overall the B3 is 141g and the B2 139g so pretty much the same.
The dub legend handle is a heavy beast at 135g, and the complete razor and handle is 188g.
The legend handle weight is almost that of the razor with the smaller handle.
You can see the new version with locator pins that go all the way through the base plate. Let's have a look! The new version is awesome. I will shave with it tomorrow and see if it works as well as it's predecessor. I expect it will.

 

I got the B2 with both handles shipped this morning. I'm going to order some blades from tryablade. What ones should I get? I need aggressive.

 

The Feather Pro is a great blade IMO but if you need more the Pro supers have a bigger blade exposure because it is wider thus more blade. Forget about any of the guard blades. Give the pros a try this razor will shave differently from anything else you have used!

 

If it's not aggressive enough anybody know or seen anyway to shim it?
