Doing some more work in the garage tonight, and had H&H Louisiana Red in my Neerup sitter. This is an old file pic of this particular Neerup, shown with Bullseye flake.

That looks good! I'm definitely going to have to try some of that. May grab a tin in the near future. I may also be able to shed some light on the name that will make it sound less ridiculous. In Eangland of yore, lets say the 1800's; Meat Pie's were a very important and staple food for all classes of people. They could be made of many different meats: Beef, Lamb, Fowl, Pork, etc.; eaten hot or cold and eaten as any meal of the day or as a snack in between. Drew Estate Meat Pie is a classic English Mixture; and with that name they are implying that it is also an traditional English staple, that can be enjoyed by everyone as an all day smoke. It's actually quite clever on the level.

I feel as though I may need to start making my "Den" a little bit bigger....

Lol, I was kind of expecting that one. It does I suppose. Which kind of makes me think all the more that I want to open my own small shop. I think I may have found a great location for it too.

And that's just mostly tins. Normally I smoke mostly bulk, which isn't in the pic aside from the Comoys tin which I just refilled and the black leather tobacco jar on my shave shelf, which no longer fits on my tobacco shelf. I probably smoke at least 4-5lbs a year.......is that terrible?

A little CBW on the way home today. I smoked another bowl on the deck. I sneezed once during each.

I've been eyeing the Pease Virginia Cream. Normally I'm not much of an aromatic fan, but that's based on experience with some bulk aromatics that were goopy with PG, cotton candy sweet, and turn into something awful about halfway through the bowl. The description on this looks awfully good, with a base blend of good tobaccos and a light touch with the flavoring, a "master's touch" according to the description.

Working in the garage again tonight. Finished until tomorrow night, and relaxing with PS navy flake in the Chacom Canadian. The Canadian is close to being broken in; I'll work on the other two Chacoms over the weekend.

Hope everyone's football team wins out this weekend, whoever you root for. As for me, Roll Tide!

Enjoying some Gatsby Luxury Flake in my Dr. Grabow El Dorado. I tend to prefer English blends to anything else, but this is a really nice Virginia Flake. I didn't much care for the way they cut it, as it's large strips as opposed to actual smaller flakes; but I let it dry a bit and it rubbed out nicely. It has a pleasant, natural sweetness and a bit of an earthly taste to it; as I would expect from a good natural tobacco. I rather like it.

I really like the way Gatsby incorporates truly unflavored cavendish into the blend. Great bang for buck.
