A little while ago I won a Canadian E2 with a G1 handle. The handle looked to have some deformities but the head looked spectacular. I got lucky as the deformities (possibly from a chemical cleaner) were less than they appeared to be in the pictures. Having just been through some great shaves with the PAL Injecto Matic and my early type E2 I decided it was time to see how this one shaved. In a word, Awesome. Right up there with the best of them. Another one I'd be happy to have as my only razor. :happy088:

Nice shavers aint they Sir...I always treat mine to an NOS Schick Blade myself...Only the best for my Repeater's...The interesting thing is the original blades even the later ones made by Eversharp are not up too much....But they sure do Sing with those NOS blades from the 70s....;)

I'll have to try an NOS Schick blade next. Ive got a NOS 20 blade injector (black steel) that I haven't tried.

Scull & Cross Bones on the blades in the Black Steel Magazines Sir...They were made during the War years for the Troops and also sold to the public...They are Crap to be Blunt about it...No Pun Intended...:lyrtuy5:

Well they aint sugar Sir...They are Shite...They will give you a rough ride...The interesting thing is they were still issuing those horrid things to troops in Nam...I have some I got with a cased injector...Eversharp Branded NOS blades were Crap as well...Most NOS Injector Blades from the 60s & 70s are good to Go...That was the Hay day and the pinnacle of razor blade production for Injector Blades Sir...;)

I'm right there with you my friend and brother!!!

Truth be told Karl, I've been trying to get a PAL InjectoMatic - trying REAL hard!

I had recently got a PAL adjustable (great advice on that one Billy! @Billyfergie ) so then I tried to find an InjectoMatic to compare....

    True story.

About a week or so ago I'm on the bay and see one. No bidders yet and it looks to be in good shape. Here's a photo:

    PAL Injecto Matic.jpg

But it also has a Buy It Now option. I wait until the auction part ends, and see that no one bid. So I quick write the guy to offer him below asking price. He informs me that someone had taken it as a BIN. Oh well I say.

But he writes back and says he has another, that's in better condition and will sell it to me for my offer price. I also tell him I wanted an old 1912 handle for my Gem and he invites me to go to his online shop and pick one out, because it will take him a bit to get the second Injecto-Matic online. Here's a photo of it:

    PAL Injecto Matic-1.jpg
looks great! quite the beauty, wouldn't you agree Karl?

So I wait for the guy to put it online.

I wait....wait...wait...(has the punchline dawned on you yet Karl?)...I wait...wait...

    I waited for days, but...
...I never heard back from the guy and I never ever saw the InjectoMatic listed. :angry019:

But I guess that's life by the bay sometimes, and fortunately, I'm really happy with my PAL Adjustable though.

So if you actually do ever get stranded on that island Karl, make real sure you are really in fact, ALONE!!! :happy069: :signs136:

    Cheers Karl!

    ROTFLMAO

Amazing that his photos were taken in my shave den! Assuming it was technichi_shave, look at this way: You avoided a bloody face that bled for 3+ hours from the defective first one. And, you are (assuming you have written him to find another for you) in line for a fine one. Or, perhaps even better, you will be scouring the UK site and will instead get one of those British jobs and come out even better. :happy036:

yes they were your photos Karl, I couldn't find his original and never would have seen the 2nd one, if you hadn't posted it!

I just couldn't believe the coincidence as I was going through this Karl! :scared011:

...and then when you started commenting about the great service from that seller? - I knew it was one in the same!

I was gonna keep it to myself, but just couldn't help myself any longer from calling it out. :shocked002: :shocked003:

    Best,
    RT

btw - I'd have done the same thing if I were him. That's good practice to keep his previous buyer happy. He probably hadn't heard from you yet when he first communicated with me...but once he did, he then needed to take care of you first of course.

I only wonder what would have happened if I had sent funds right away after his first message without looking for the 1912 handle much later that day...:signs002:
    Enjoy it Karl!
    :)

Hey - good news! The first one is back on the market: . http://www.ebay.com/itm/BROKEN-PAL-...sh=item1c5b87ba1e:g:HAgAAOSwl9BWKSXO#viTabs_0 OK, just joking... :scared001:

But, there is a functional BIN/MO one up on the bay now. It's only been up a few hours. And there are some ones with different handles on the UK site just waiting for you. :happy088:

...and now I'm wondering about that PAL adjustable you got. You know, two slipped through my fingers literally minutes before I tried to buy them. Hmmmm. :signs002:
