Yesterday, I scored a 1939-1941 US Aristocrat. It is on its way from Seattle. I already have one, but it's pretty beat up. I hope this one looks a little better than the one I have. http://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/151850268743 The photos don't really show much, but the price was right.
I decided to celebrate the election of the new Canadian Prime Minister by buying a Canadian-made shaving soap which is supposed to be hyper-mentholated like the Glacial soaps - let's hope it is! 1x First Canadian Shaving Soap Company Polar Vortex SS
Glad to see a fellow member bought this piece. I eyed it but Toby is making me a custom so held myself on this on. Excellent work from Toby
Sweet handle Mark!! Forgot to ask you over on your SOTD, how are you liking the Small Batch Shave Tonic.
I truly enjoy my SS Helix and I have regretted not ordering a custom one from Toby before he closed the list. I had to be the fastest typing fool ever to get this one.
Thanks Guy! Toby's handles are worth the wait. Look forward to seeing yours. The Shave Tonic is my Numero Uno Bay Rum Aftershave. I use it on no shave days, after my shower.
Also...waiting on Peter from Wolfman Whiskers to get in contact with me in about a week to pick my brush, shape, etc.....
I'm thinking a silvertip bulb shaped...but the biggest challenge is going to come up with the handle......
I was leaning toward a goldslager ( clear with gold flakes) he had one model that had floaters. thought that was cool. then I saw the bishop, I thought emerald green with gold accents. he has so many beautiful options.
