Gold razors are something special. I've owned several gold plated razors over the years and these are the three I've kept. All Gillettes. A 1960 Toggle, A 1947 Aristocrat and a 1930's New Standard (Sometimes called brass). I'm not normally a fan of the Fat Boy but the Toggle is a different breed. It gives me a really good shave. The other two are a bit agressive but to me no more so than a Red Tip Super Speed. I enjoy using them from time to time. Yeah, I didn't feel like setting them just for this shot; nor did I want to set the hands to 10 & 2 for the "smile." They don't get much wear, but you probably guessed that.
