    Brush: Whipped Dog 30/45 Silvertip 2014
    Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue
    Cream: Truefitt&Hill No 10
    Blade: Feather (2)
    Post shave: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera, Jack Black balm, Old Spice Lime original Shulton AS Frosted Glass 1960s
    Whipped up the Truefitt&Hill No 10 in a minute with the Silvertip. Nice slick cushion and I really like the scent. The heavy handle and head gave me a nice smooth shave with no pressure with a Feather blade set on 5. WTG and XTG on my face and neck. Then ATG set on 3. Very smooth. The Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera felt good on my face and that natural scent was nice and fresh. After cleanup, I smoothed on some Jack Black, and then some Old Spice Lime AS from the 1960s. Y'all have a good one!

    10/27/2015 Open Comb October!! / Tobacco Tuesday!

    Prep: Hot shower with Neutrogena Face Wash with menthol, home made PSO
    Razor: Star 1912 pat., "The Hornet" straight razor
    Blade: GEM PTFE Coated SE (5)
    Brush: Vie Long Horse Hair
    Soap: Tabac
    After: Home made ASB, Tabac AS
    Cologne: Tabac EDC

    Welcome to Tobacco Tuesday! The Tabac was whipped up easily by the Vie Long brush into a nice lather. The 1912 and "The Hornet" easily trimmed the whiskers. The Tabac AS and the Tabac EDC were a nice finish for this Darn Fine Shave.

    Blade: 7 o’clock (Blues) (2)
    TSD Witch Hazel
    Aftershave: Old Spice 1967

    Second shave with the Goodwill.

    The New LC is not only my favorite of these four OC razors, but it may be my favorite razor of all. The two shaves with the Goodwill have been close to the same quality, but not as smooth or automatic. Still an excellent razor thus far.

    Very good shave today with the Flare Tip and Personna blade. Great soap and an excellent A/S.

    Personna Executive is very cooool.
    Nice Slim. That WD ST is one big knot.
    Nice picture. Do you like your Vie Long? I find mine too scritchy. You may see it in a future PIF.

    I like the Vie Long brush so much that I have 2 in the rotation. I like to feel the little bit of scritch that it gives.

    The Van Der Hagen Deluxe Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #27 Silver Tip brush. First pass with my Merkur 15c Open Comb razor with a Personna Super blade followed by second pass with the Gillette Aristocrat (1947 Birth Year Razor) gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Lilac Vegetal after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
