    Soap Commander Love (rose)
    homemade brush with a 25mm Shavemac 2 band silver tip

    I finished this blade on an antique store coti. I've picked up a couple of $7.50 coti's at antique stores over the years this one has proven itself to be a nice finishing stone.
    It's a yellow buckskin color, the other is more pinkish and more little more aggressive. Very nice shave. The Soap Commander is pretty good stuff but since David mentioned it, for some reason, I have Barry White songs playing in mind while using the "Love". Well, whatever it takes to get your swagger on, lol. Have a good one.

    I'm in Phoenix on a business trip and my hotel had a great lather bowl on the counter. It had Q-tips and cotton balls in it but I used it for lathering for the second pass after face lathering the first.

    Nice shave this morning, Felt like there was no blade in the razor, LOL. Let's see - Ogallala Limes & Peppercorns A/S used as a pre-shave oil, Ogallala Limes & Peppercorns soap, Semogue 830 boar brush, Gillette Fatboy F2, Astra SP blade, Alum block, Thayer's Witch Hazel, and Ogallala Limes & Peppercorns A/S. All very satisfying.

    Two terrific passes with the Mongoose today = one outstanding BBS shave. I forgot how much easier daily shaving is than EOD. It’s more fun too! The DK Boar was Kickin’ the Asses Milk Soap. The switch to the Shave Stick Format has generated way more lather for these soaps. I’m enjoying face lathering too. The Metilsol is a great alternative to the alum block, smells better too. Ended with a big splash of Fine Fresh Vetiver. Hope you all had a good one!

    After - Frozen towel / Alum & WH Mix
    Result - BBS

    A beautiful day, house all to myself and a full weeks growth to mow. No trouble to the 1924, which is now probably my favourite noise! Straight up Arko once again, great result.
