I just had a test drive with it...The more I have it in my hand the more I like it...Its so unusual Sir...The lines of it are ever so clean and smooth...Its like a Ghost..Reminds me of Marty the ghost from Randal & Hopkirk.... Billy...
Received this New Forest 2213 silvertip brush yesterday. Used it this morning and wow, love it. The picture doesn't show it but there's a faint, beautiful marble effect in the resin and the knot felt excellent. I...uh..also ate all the Jammie Dodgers the seller included
There are some NIB Schick Olympics back up for sale (10 of them I think). PM me if you want his contact details.
Few other beauties reached me this week 2x Tech's NOS (without box) Wizamet W-11 (Polish adjustable razor) NOS without the box Wizamet W-3 razor (rare one) Another Superspeed A little bit dirty Slim Twist but it's only plastic handle that needs to be refreshed - the mechanism and head are in great condition Feather Portable (it's a pity that it's not produced anymore. I am still looking for NOS) And the last - 2x Gold Dollar for practicing
Wow. Coincidence or what? I just saw a razor exactly like that one today. I've never see one like it and didn't get it. They wanted $20. What brand is it and would it be worth what they were asking?
Just picked these up today. Colgate cream is full. Still debating on using it or not... Maybe once or twice to see how it performs, or may use the whole tube. And the OS mug has Ship Recovery on both sides. Maybe I have just not looked at my other mugs this closely, or they aren't as clear, but this one says Made in Belgium on the bottom.
I have actually no idea who the manufacturer is. My guess is that it's a no-name brand and that the razor might have been part of a set back in the days. I haven't shaved with mine yet so I can't speak for how it shaves yet. I paid $12.50 for mine which I thought was a fair price.
Quick question. I did a search but didn't find a definitive answer. Can you run the Old Spice glass mugs in the dishwasher?
They are also selling at rather good prices often. So is, surprisingly, the Rubberset 400 brushes these days - quite a few selling for around 50-60 dollars.
I hauled a bottle of Jockey club lavender lotion. it was the last glass bottle on the shelf of an old Spanish grocery store. I've never heard of it. smells like lavender shave soap.
