The photo is of two razors I received that were not as the seller had represented. I managed a settlement with the seller and received most of my money back and got to keep the Schick B2 that was part of the lot. The Stahly does not have the original head and the Schick in the 500 case is a plain ole J1.
The rolls razor I received today was even better than I expected. This has never been of the box as best I can tell. All the packaging is still intact, including the inspector ticket and the protective paper covers on the hone and strop. I considered keeping it as unopened and buying another user........for about 20 seconds. I will be trying it out this weekend.
That looks really good! I don't know how true it is but I've read a number of times that these old Rolls blades really benefits from a proper honing (outside of the kit) before used. Do post how it went.
