The Proraso Green Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #25 WD Synthetic brush. First pass with my Gillette Aristocrat (1947 Birth Year Razor) with a Personna Super blade followed by second pass with the Merkur 15c Open Comb razor gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Lilac Vegetal after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

My shave of the day on Thursday consisted of Logona shave cream, Mühle travel shave brush STF, Feather hardware, alum and Penhaligon's Bayolea after shave.
2 nice passes and I was well shaved

Had a good 3 pass shave today. The croma blade was decent so far, no tugging and turned out to be a smooth shave. The scent of this soap reminds me of when I used to live up north, and the performance is on point. Finished off with Leviathan. Hope everyone had a great shave!

 

Gear:
Burma-Shave cartridge razor: Not my favorite of the ones I've gone through recently. I'd rate it 6/10
Geo F Trumper small Pure Badger brush: Handle might be too small actually. The tip of the brush formed a 'ridge' when applying paint strokes. So far a 5/10
Myrsol Plastic Shave: I really like this product...but...I think I actually prefer Floid Blue now... 7.5/10
Speick Active: Never used a Speick product before. Great performance. Unfortunately the new badger knot smell masked the scent of the cream. 7/10

This is my 2nd blade I'm trying. Each blade get 3 shaves.
This was my 6th shave. Another good shave. I'm really getting the hang of the DE razor. One thing I have to remember is to not increase the razor angle at the end of each pass/stroke. That's where I notice pulling, and then I focus on not doing it. I had no razor burn and a close shave. I am enjoying it.
Next shave I switch blades. So far I like the GSB over the Voskhod. But I have a ways to go.
(Blades used: Voskhod Teflon, Gillette SB)

Hello everyone ... so here's my saturday morning shave:

Since this is the last day before NOVember, I thought I'd try new stuff today I really like the Trumper cream ... lathers easily, nice slickness and the smell reminds me of summer, like one of those coconutty sunscreen lotions.
I WANT to like the Myrsol, but I'm not that much into Menthol and the cooling sensation is just too much for me (though I bet Jeff wouldn't even recognize it )

Stirlilng Ozark Mountain today. 20 seconds to load the oscar11 Boar. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” SS still in the NEW SC. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Pitralon Classic.

Damn, my face is so frozen from this shave - the Synergy Frost_byte is one COLDER than HELL soap and the Lucky Tiger a/s cream ain't exactly warm either. Brian's Frostbite aftershave went on bone-chillingly cold and NICE. Another great BBS shave!
