    Soap Commander Love (rose)
homemade brush with a 25mm Shavemac 2 band silver tip

I finished this blade on an antique store coti. I've picked up a couple of $7.50 coti's at antique stores over the years this one has proven itself to be a nice finishing stone.
It's a yellow buckskin color, the other is more pinkish and more little more aggressive. Very nice shave. The Soap Commander is pretty good stuff but since David mentioned it, for some reason, I have Barry White songs playing in mind while using the "Love". Well, whatever it takes to get your swagger on, lol. Have a good one.

Progress 7/8 solingen finest silver steel - has always been a fine shaver & have not honed it in 26 shaves. I see these on Ebay a lot and they rarely get bids but they are way under rated IMO
Seifenglatt w/Castle forbes sandalwood creme - decided to use up my three seifenglatt soaps because I was not very fond of them and in the process I have learned to like them a lot
FS 28 mm extra dense silvertip- love these chinese knots a lot
Floid Black label- on of my favorites

    Cade & L' Occitane Vetyver
    homemade boar, Semogue SOC knot

This knot isn't set quite right so a tweak will be in it's future. Superb shave today. I really like the new Cade soap especially with a touch of L'Occitane Vetyver. Have a good one.

Wusthof Trident stainless 13/16 - best shaver a person could ask for. Jamie Mahoney put an edge on this one that is outstanding. I stropped it through a progression of 25 on a Tony Miller linen, 25 on an SRD linen, 25 on a Westholme Horween leather and 50 on an SRD Roo. OMG smooth
Le Pere Lucien with DR Harris Rose creme - absolutely the best ubelather I have ever made and I make a ube probably 90% of the time. This one is outstanding
FS 28 mm extra dense silvertip - I love these knots
Le Pere Lucien AS - not my favorite but a very good one. The shave I got today deserved Floid Blue but I was trying to stay with a match to my soap and could not decide whether it was going to be le pere AS or DR Harris Pink splash.
Note - there is no way in the world a DE will give a shave like I got today. Bring it on DE lovers lol
    ;)
