Today’s shave was a Spooky Close 2 pass BBS. The Red D-7 had no problem whipping up an outstanding slick lather with TSD Pumpkin Harvest. TSD lanolin soaps are among the best lathering in my den. The whipped Shea Butter was cool and soothing. It’s moisturizing is top notch. I’m all cleaned up and ready for a night full of Ghosts and Goblins.

I haven't shaved in 3 days, been really sick. I just received this beautiful Red Tip and Chiseled Face Sherlock aftershave. The red tip had no problem cutting down three days worth of whiskers, CF Sherlock is a nice scent. Today is a resting and watching college football day.

We're traveling today so when I packed I grabbed a later type E2 for an easy shave today. Ah, I missed the E2. So easy and smooth. BUT, as I was shaving my wife wanted to discuss some plans for our teenage son. Yup, you guessed it, a few more nicks and weepers than usual - including an, "ouch!" at the Adam's apple. I think there is a lesson in there somewhere...

Lovely morning shave with the Dubl Duck and almond-scented Cella lather. Finished up with a refreshing splash of Bay Rum. DFS+!

today's shave was nice. love the earthy smell of Proraso red. tired hand,so I used the Berkeley again. tthree passes left me bbs smooth and comfy. the Berkeley is a very nice shave. finished with kolonia.

My third and final shave with this setup brought the same great results as the first two - and brought my OC October to a close. Very good to great shaves with Gillette New LC, Schick Type C1, Standard Safety Razor and Gillette Goodwill. If I could only keep one it would be the New LC - my new favorite razor since starting this journey in May.

Shave of the day

Pre- Hot shower, Jumping Juniper shampoo cake from Lush
Soap/cream- Proraso green tea and oat
Brush- Plisson synthetic
Razor- WEBER polished head all stainless steel
Blade- Personna lab blue(2)
Post- Cold water rinse, Pinaud Clubman classic vanilla aftershave lotion and Nivea sensitive cooling aftershave balm

It was a while ago since I used a Proraso soap, they never disappoint!

I tried just using warm water for this shave, I have been cold water shaving for a while. I wanna try warm Water only for a bit and compare the shaves.

My WEBER razor is just amazing! And I was almost not gonna buy it... For 45$!!! Just great all around.

Pinaud vanilla is very nice too!

Clint,
The shave was surprisingly mild. I might even compare it to my Feather. Got a great shave though and it is a beauty to behold.
