    Schick Ivory I-1 Injector
    Schick Injector II Twin #1
    Romera Black Buffalo Horn
    Palmolive Classic SS
Alum, Witch Hazel ++Menthol, Unrefined Shea Butter
    Chilled Proraso Aftershave Lotion

Today’s shave was a super close three pass BBS. The Schick Twin Blade had no trouble with 2 days of stubble. The twin blades were sharper and more efficient than the single blade. The Romera kicked up a cool thick ‘Classic’ lather, pronto! The knot has the density of a Simpson or Shavemac. It easily held enough lather for more than 4 passes. Finished with a few squirts of icy Proraso. Hope everyone had a great Wednesday.

Hot Water prep & massage with Coconut Oil
    Schick Type E 2 Injector
Feather Pro Injector Blade ( Modified ) New
    Semogue Boar Brush
Erasmic Shaving Cream (added Argan oil)
    Organic Aloe Vera Gel
Logona Mann After Shave Balm (From Germany)

Couldn't get my photo to down load today from my phone so I stole this pic...I had a my first shave with a Feather Pro Blade in my Type E 2 today and all I can say is ..:happy036:What a Darn close super close all over BBS Result...I don't normally shave 2 days in a trot never mind go for a BBS 2 days in a row but Hey we are allowed to do crazy things now and again...I got away with an irritation free shave an all...The Feather Pro in the Type E is just a match made in Heaven...The Type E/Pro blade combo is ever so smooth & smooth...The smoothest shave from a Type E that I have ever had...It actually turns into more like a Schick Type D ....The Feather Pro is just so forgiving in the Type E 2...Far more forgiving than in the G Type...Crazy I know but there it is folks...The Type E s is a smoother injector than the G Type anyway for me but more aggressive...I was even getting away with using a tad of pressure with this combo....I feel as if I have lost a stone from my face...:happy097:
The Type E 2 & Feather Pro Blade Combo Rocks...:git:

Roger, you ol' baseball buddy! Did I ever tell you my favorite team is the Blue Jays! As it is for my Canadian wife as well!

So just a reminder that I made you that offer for the Type F way back when and that I am way out in front of Karl :taunt002:on that Waiting List Right?!!

(btw - I know I don't need to remind everyone about how he sniped me on the PAL InjectoMatic - TWICE!) :bang:

I am commited to using it for the entire month of November. I had thought, before going into no variation November that I'd be sick of it and ready to give it away but Im really loving it. Not only does it look extremely cool, it has become my favoritr shaver......
If I get ran over a bus please write my wife and tell her about our deal.....remember to tell her you're a Cardinals fan (she's from St Louis)

    Ha! Thanks Roger!

It does look like a really cool razor and most all reviews I've read are very positive.

After 6 months into this shaving thing, I'm trying to develop a group of 'go-to' razors. Injectors are well represented thanks to all the great advice on this thread.

On the injector side, I have the C1 for travel.
Beyond that I need to set aside some strict focus time for the PAL Adjustable, a Canadian E, a recently acquired G (a NOS '66'), and a soon-to-arrive PAL InjectorMatic (NOS). Plus I'll experiment with new acquisitions as well, as I get the opportunity.

Still searching for the flea market Type F!

Hello all, I just finished my second shave with my Adjustable Schick injector. It went pretty smoothly, but today I noticed I had some small patches of stubble left. I guess my angle was off a bit. All in all it was a SAS. But I am starting to learn the razor. I'll do better tomorrow or the next day, whenever I shave next. Every time I look at that injector I can't help thinking, "man, that's a cool looking razor!" Dig It!!!

I picked this Schick Injector up on the BST of another forum. The seller had it listed as an E Type but I believe it's a G Type. Perhaps some of the experts can chime in.

Thanks Billy. I have a I type and a J type as well. I am correct in my understanding that the G is somewhat more aggressive?

That's spot on Sir...The G Type is a more aggressive shaver...A Chinese Schick blade makes it somewhat milder for me though...I prefer a Personna/Pella blade in it for that reason.... I am using a Feather Pro Blade in mine at the moment and that turns up the volume as well..:p

I'll try it with a Chinese Schick blade tomorrow. Do you have a link on modifying a Feather Pro blade for use in a Schick razor?

    This is what you do..

1..Take a Feather Pro Blade from its magazine...
2..Sit a standard injector blade flat on top of the Pro blade
3..Cut the Pro blade down to the size of the standard blade with a sharp pair of scissors
4..Slip the cut down Pro blade into a standard injector magazine
5..Inject it as per normal into your razor

Some things to bear in mind...;)
When you cut the Pro blade make sure its not the side that's going to slip in to the injector key...It should be the side that's going into the razor...This is because it might not slip into the standard magazine easily...In addition...If by any chance you don't get a clean cut just buff it with a woman's nail file...:p

Its a two minute job Sir.:eatdrink013:

Great write up. I'm going to have to get some Feathers and try this out. Hard to imagine the E2 getting even smoother and closer. :happy036:
