I have here 2 razors that I worked on...just thought Id let you see them before I sold them, needs must Im afraid...and I must part with a few of my babies....enjoy
tHE rAZORS The first one is a Gray & Ludley Hdwe Co. 5/8th done in a gunstock oil finished wood,Tambootie infact, bullseye pins with a 3rd pin and a mammoth ivory spacer.Blade has a little hone wear. Its been in my rotation for a while. The second one is a Geneva Cutlery Co. with Laburnum scales and a mammoth Ivory spacer,The condition of the razor has not been altered at all, so no resto here, the blade is as I found it,bullseye third pin and is 13/16th in size. Laburnum is found in Europe and has a wonderful pattern to it, this is finished in gun-stock oil and lightly polished. As you can see the blade has very little hone wear. Please excuse the finger prints....and the colours on the wood are more vibrant I have other pics but those ones were easier to post. The Tambootie one is already sold. Regards, simon
Well hopefully they will go to a good home and I am sure when funds return his collection will too. Beautiful Razors coming out of here.
