I'm jumping in head first! My hair had been thinning for a while and I just recently started shaving my head with a DE. My barber gave me a routine that I have been using without any issue. I would like to start expanding my DE lineup. I'm using the $15 DE that Sally's Beauty sells. I'm not sure what the name is. I've gone through about 10 Derby's, and just bought a pack from Wal-Mart that goes with the razor from the TV commercials. I'm looking to learn a lot here in regards to the art of shaving. I've enjoyed diving into the world of shaving, as my previous experiences had only been with clippers to the face to keep it neat. Hello from the new guy!

to TSD "Joe Moore Jr." I hope you enjoy it here. Are you just head shaving or have you begun face shaving also? You may want to get a blade sample pack or two. The more different blades you can try the better to find the one/ones that work best for your face and in your case head.
