    November 7

    Feather Artist Club SS
    Feather Professional (7)
    Semogue 830
    MdC scented
    Two passes plus touch-ups
Thayer's Lavender witch hazel, unrefined shea butter, and Fine L'Orange Noir

    Goals
Further develop my two-pass shave technique by practicing the basics
Break in and get more experience with the Semogue 830
    Get more experience with MdC

I enjoyed the best shave so far in my November focus this evening. No boo boos! I completed WTG and XTG/ATG passes, resulting in a DFS+ shave with an A- on irritation. I'm making progress in the areas above and below my mouth using careful ATG and XTG strokes combined with plenty of skin stretching. The MdC lather is great. I love the feel of the Semogue brush, but it still needs time to break in.

Over the past week, my shaves have gradually improved. It will be interesting to see if tomorrow's shave goes well with a brand new blade.

I hope you all are enjoying your weekend!

    Sunday's
    ZCOLDWATER.jpg

    Dove Men Face Wash
    Tabac Shaving Soap
    Jayaruh #27 Silver Tip
    Gillette Super Adjustable (8)
    Astra Super Platinum
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Lemon WH
    Aqua Velva AS

The Tabac Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #27 Silver Tip brush. Two passes with my Gillette Super Adjustable razor on 8 and an Astra Super Platinum blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Eighth shave of No Variation NoVember.

My planned shave for Sunday morning:

Neutrogena Men Facial Wash :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Large Horsehair Barbershop
    Super Speed/Astra day 7
Gada Cool Mint SC :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Lucky Tiger AS Cream :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Mennen Skin Bracer AS :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:

It's been a long time since I've used my Gada Cool Mint cream and I decided to use it for my Sunday shave. I've sent tubes of it to a lot of friends of mine in this group and now it's time for me to enjoy it. I love the scent, it lathers so easily, and it has such a nice menthol effect with terrific post-shave care. The Lucky Tiger a/s cream is another barbershop-like treasure which I bought from Italian Barber, and the Skin Bracer is and always will be a top favourite of mine! ;) :D

    November 7

A very rare day for me. NO SHAVE today. I haven't felt all that good today (still put in my full Saturday), woke up a bit tired, decided to grab an extra hours sleep, and besides...the cut from yesterday was a bit worse than I thought. I have a small piece of flesh hanging there, nothing major, but if I don't let it heal a bit I could really create havoc. So, dealing with that and my usual health issues that tend to catch up with me from time to time, and that was that. We'll pick it up again tomorrow!

Hope you're feeling better soon. The cut I suffered at the hands of my straight still hasnt completely healed from 3 weeks ago. I keep slicing off freshly healed skin each day.....

Plan for Sunday, November 8, 2015

B-3 Mongoose with Triad Moku Ti
    Feather Pro Super #2
    Varlet Beehive
    Barrister and Mann Seville
Alum, Witch Hazel ++Menthol, Cucumber Melon Whipped Shea Butter

TSD Aftershave Splash 2X Iced Barber Shoppe

Three pass BBS. The Mongoose with a Feather Pro Super blade gives me the closest shave. The Varlet badger gaves a luxurious full-face feel while lathering. It loaded up quickly and generated more than enough lather for 3 passes. Seville is one of my favorite barbershop scents. Ended with a generous icy spritz of TSD Iced Barber Shoppe. Happy Sunday!
