To be honest I would say the PAL Injector blades are rougher then current Personna blades Sir...;)

I do love shaving with injectors, but I also enjoy DEs, too. I now want a Schick Repeating Razor.

Nice razor! I'm going to break mine out later this week as part my injector focus this month. I've used it before with good results but now I'm going to spend some time getting more familiar it.

What a beautiful shaving instrument sir! I hope it shaves you even half as good as it looks. I am waiting for one as well. It should be here in the next few days. It would sure be hard to wait until December to use it, though. Hang in there!

Ok. So it appears I may have damaged the edge of the blade when inserting it. There was some visible damage when I looked closely at the edge. I popped in a new blade, shaved with it today, and had a nice, smooth shave. Glad that the Personnas are back in the game in terms of current production blades. Apologies for jumping the gun.

Well Rufus T i my be in the same boat as you. I just bought a PAL Injectomatic. It will really try my resolve not to use it this month. I will see when i get it.

Its so easy to run the blades across the blade stops when loading injectors...Always needs that in mind especially with PAL Injectors as the heads tend to be tighter than Chicks...If you are using those hair shaper blades without a magazine stick them in your Chick blade injector magazine to inject it...;)

Ten four good buddy! I saw this commercial for the Pal stainless blades and thought this guy must've been feeling the same way I did with the bunged up blade. Sure it can shave through a plank of wood and shave you, but you might not enjoy it that much :(

My Pal should be getting here either in today's mail or tomorrow. How do you store your Pal btw? I would assume it doesn't fit in a standard toothbrush holder due to the handle.

The mighty PAL Injecto Matic just proved it's merit again. I have to get up very early tomorrow and won't have time to shave but will need to meet with someone in the early afternoon - preferably with a clean shaven face. What to do? Simple, shave the night before with the PAL - no problem. :happy088:

Besides, it had been too long since I'd shaven with it so I was happy for the "excuse" - smooth, smooth, smooth. :happy036:

18 hours from now my BBS will be a DFS...

A Wee Tip for storing the PAL Adjustable is to stash it away on its Highest Setting as the spring is released here and it should keep the spring healthy & strong ...:)

    @Billyfergie
So, I had my first shave with the Pal Adjustable this evening and I have a feeling that I am missing something. I can hear what sounds like whiskers being shaved off, but then there is still a good amount of stubble left. I had it set on 3, the medium setting. The blade gap is pretty small on the razor so I wonder if that is what makes it seem so difficult to shave with for me. It almost reminds me of the Feather AS-D1, but a bit harder to get the angle with at first. Any thoughts on it Billy? I really want to get a good shave with this razor, but I'm a little bummed honestly :( Still not giving up yet though.

Yeah....I hear what you are saying Sir...Its very subtle this Injector...The gap is very small and it can take a moment to find the correct angle Sir...Put the head flat against the face & just drop the handle a very small amount...If you miss the angle on this one the sweet spot has Gone with the Wind...I wouldn't worry too much about it as this is a common issue with it...I didn't have any problems but I do understand what you are talking about...The thing is with this injector is that there is very little audible feed back when it hits the Sweet Spot and that's correct....Feel your Whiskers going down rather than hearing them being cut down if that makes sense...;)

Think of the Sweet spot in this Injector as the " The Shy Girl"...:rah:

I'd go for it and give it a test run on a weekend.
I'm always on the 30 day focus, so if I ever get a new piece of equipment, it could be months before I ever get to it. So I just take a mulligan on a weekend and use it.

Besides you've got to see if it works, so you can send it back if it doesn't. A lot harder to do if you have to wait months for your initial shave.
(At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it!)
